Launching the National Broadband Implementation (NBI) initiative and Telekom Malaysia’s Berhad’s flagship role at Dataran Merdeka, Datuk Seri NajibTunRazak is administering access to high speed broadband (HSBB) of next generation.
Multimedia broadcasts and two sided games will be featured at the event at which people would be allowed to accompany the Prime Minister.
The event was made public to be viewed by all between 7pm and 10.30pm on Wednesday and for Thursday the timing was between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.
The crowd waited for a gamut of activities that included not only games, lucky draw, contests but also spectacular open air concert hosted by spectacular Aizat, FaizalTahir, Bunkface, Tomok and Stacy.

On 18th day of March, 2010, Menara TM was lit. Having visualized the graphical countdown projection beam, the Menara TM depicted the one of its kind in Malaysia till the launch date arrived.
